01 | BRIEF

To get the process started, we simply want to listen. We have an onsite consultation where we ask you questions like what you like, what you dislike, what you want to achieve and so on. We want to get to know YOU and your space.
During the onsite consultation, we will also take a measure of your space so we can start to design the space. We then put together all the information from the initial site visit and create a brief. This is the first document you will receive in the entire process.

02 | CONCEPT

This is where it starts to get exciting. During our ‘concept’ phase, we look at turning your brief into a design. We collate all the information we received from our initial briefing stage and look at different options with layouts, colours, focal points and design features. This phase allows you to see and understand the project we are creating for you.

03 | DESIGN

Here we start to evolve and grow the initial concepts in the previous phase. Some say “it’s where all the magic happens”.
After we have presented the initial concepts to you, we discuss and outline what you absolutely love about it and what type of changes or tweaks you want to include.
We develop 3D drawings for you to get a visual aid on what the space will look like. We also look at finishes and textures and provide you with samples and a flat lay on all the finishes we are proposing.
VN Design will make sure what we create will be achievable and of course within your budget. Once this phase is completed, we are ready to present the final design to our clients.

04 | DOCUMENT

Once the design is locked in, we move into the preliminary drawing set. We use this drawing set to get quotes on your custom joinery and any other interior elements within your design. This drawing set will soon form part of your entire package and used for construction. VN Design thrives on our high level of detail in all of our documentation to ensure everything will run smoothly. 

05 | FURNITURE SELECTION

VN Design also provides a furniture selection service. We look at planning the furniture for every space in your house or even if you are looking for particular or custom items, we are here to do that for you.
Each space and client is different, so we make sure our furniture specification service is unique to each of our clients.

06 | COMPLETION

At the completion phase, we do a final walkthrough that we cross-check every item on the construction drawings is exactly how we want it. Any item that isn’t, we call this a defect, but not to worry, we use this phase to rectify any defects.
After you are happy with everything, we are complete! Here’s the time where we pop open the champagne and celebrate your beautiful space!
